Role Overview:
As a Freelance Tax Specialist, you will collaborate closely with AI engineers to enhance our Calculations module—transforming intricate Hungarian tax rules into state-of-the-art, automatable AI solutions for accurate and scalable computations. This role is ideal for tax experts eager to innovate at the intersection of regulation and cutting-edge AI.
Job description
Audit and refine tax calculation logic in the Calculations module, including VAT, corporate tax, payroll taxes, and local taxes.
Translate regulatory nuances into structured data, formulas, and models that ensure AI-driven accuracy and robust edge-case handling.
Test AI outputs against real-world scenarios, identifying gaps in compliance, logic, or performance.
Contribute to the knowledge bases supporting agentic workflows and multi-model processing.
Minimum requirements
3+ years of experience in Hungarian tax practice.
Degree in accounting, taxation, finance, or law.
Ability to articulate complex rules clearly and logically for AI integration.
Comfort with digital tools; interest in AI/ML is a plus.
Availability of 5–20 hours per week.
